Hi, my name is Ms. Liz. I have been the second grade teacher at Peak for going on two years but I have been part of the Pennington community since 2015 teaching kindergarten, first and second grades. I feel blessed to be at Peak and to have been part of the transformation of an amazing community. I come to Peak every day and see the brilliant faces of the future that thrive from an experience that is not only challenging (omg) but so meaningful (I’m tearing right now) and adventurous (you know that feeling…)

I am a Colorado native. I was born in Glenwood Springs and moved to Denver when I was five, where I attended school in Littleton and Jefferson Counties. I am a Jeffco alumni. I have a bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University in 2008 majoring in behavioral sciences and elementary education. I am also licensed in Early Childhood Education.

When I am not with your amazing children I am with mine. I have my very own second grader this year. Aiden, my son is my guinea pig for all my new endeavors with my students. I also have my very first middle schooler. Yes, my daughter, Olivia is in sixth grade. Yikes! My husband Jason and I are all in on this wild ride of being parents and loving every minute of it… really… no REALLY… We are blessed to have both sets of grandparent’s right here in Denver and so we make it a family affair weekly.

Family and community are so important to me and your kiddos are my home away from home. I am so glad to be their teacher and I look forward to all the amazing learning we get to do together!
